Candidate for Councilmember; City of Greenfield

My education, business background,and my varied life experience will bring BETTER COMMON SENSE to Greenfield City Council.

1. As you see it, what are the top three issues facing Greenfield and its residents? The top three issues that face Greenfield residents include:

  • Housing Developments / Growth;
  • Business Development / Jobs;
  • Youth Issues / Recreation.

2. What would you offer or bring to the City Council? With my educational degree in Natural Resources Planning and Interpretation, my business experience, and my varied life experiences / background, I will bring to the Council and offer ---- better common sense.

3. As a member of the City Council, what would be your goals? My goals will be to provide BETTER Business Diversity, BETTER Economic Growth, BETTER Teamwork, BETTER Transportation, BETTER Environment, and BETTER Recreation. And mainly BETTER COMMON SENSE.

4. What is your vision for the future of Greenfield? My vision of Greenfield is shared by many of the residents of this community:

  • Keep the old town flavor of the community;
  • bring in "chain or brand retailers and restaurants";
  • provide more recreational activities for the youth and residents of Greenfield;
  • provide local jobs for the residents; and
  • reduce the presence or perception of "loitering" in the downtown area.

5. What should be the City Council's mission or objective?
  • The City Council should be involved with the community, but in an apolitical manner.
  • Providing or making available better business and employment opportunities.
  • Supporting, financing, and providing an oversight to the police department to enable them to be more responsive to the needs of our community.
  • Providing a diverse array of recreational opportunities for all ages, genders and economic status.
  • Guiding and stimulating the growth and development within the City's limits.
