Candidate for Board Member; Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District; Division 1

This information is provided by the candidate
I am running to bring a much needed understanding of international law to the Board. I will make sure our community never loses control over our water.
I am dedicated to local control of our resources and to ensuring clean, safe water for generations to come. I will represent my constituents with integrity, openness and accountability.

I am a Eureka homeowner, who is committed to the well-being of our families and the future of our community.

In my role as Director of Democracy Unlimited, I am familiar with regulatory history and international laws regarding corporations, and I regularly lead workshops to make this information easier for the public to understand.

Water is a human right and I will ensure our most precious resource stays in the public domain where our community can decide how to use it and how to protect it.

I will ensure that the public has input on all of the decisions made by the Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District and that the Board is truly responsive. As your elected representative, I will listen to you, take your concerns seriously, and ensure that the Water Board acts on behalf of its constituents.

I am passionate about democracy, and I am determined to ensure the Humboldt Bay Municipal Water Board becomes more accessible to all constituents and better serves our community.
