Candidate Highlights

• I am running for the Board of The Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District (HBMWD) and I ask for your vote on Nov. 2.

• As your representative I will work to enhance the health and environment of the Mad River and the quality of water delivered to our many communities.

• As your representative I will consistently and clearly resist and oppose any selling of water for export out of our County.

• I know that our future is bright because we have an abundance of high quality WATER. I will do all I can to ensure that our water resources stay in our county and contribute to the prosperity of our people and to the health of our environment and fisheries.

• I will work proactively with the Regional Water Quality Control Board, the Coastal Commission, Fish and Game, and Fish and Wildlife, and HSU to enhance the health and habitat of our fisheries on the Mad River and especially in the estuary.

• I hope to continue to be a positive force in enhancing and promoting the quality of the Mad River for all of Humboldt County.
