Many residents of Eureka enjoy living in this unique community because of its special quality of life. Councilmember Kerrigan believes in maintaining and improving this quality of life so that residents can continue to enjoy our beautiful city.

• Councilmember Kerrigan created Eureka's innovative Adopt-A-Park program and has worked to secure critical park funding.
• Councilmember Kerrigan will continue to encourage smart growth to curb sprawl and maintain our city's priceless scenic qualities.
• Councilmember Kerrigan is working to create new recreational opportunities, including multi-use "watertrails" to increase public access to Eureka's waterfront areas, by foot and by boat.
• Councilmember Kerrigan will continue to fight to preserve open space, gulches, and greenways within the city, ensuring future generations can enjoy our city's most natural places.
• Councilmember Kerrigan spearheads architecturally appropriate construction in important scenic areas of Eureka, to help maintain and enhance the beauty of our city.
