Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Nicholas Bravo

Candidate for
Member, City Council; City of Arcata

This information is provided by the candidate

I feel that the individual is the highest form of governance. One must have the ability to govern themselves. The government is far too corrupt and involved in the lives of it's citizens. I support the Constitution and I beleive the 1st and 2nd amendments are what continues to keep the people in their rightful position of authority. I beleive that the seven initiatives as rewritten by the Arcata People's Workshop are in need of passing. It's time for people to hold the gov't and the media accountable, especially in regards to budgetary matters and legislation. I believe people have the right to their own money and the government needs to keep it's hands off individuals money. I beleive in tax reform, and an ending of the IRS tax scam. I believe that individuals have the right to do with their bodies what they choose to as long as they do not directly harm another individual.
