Seek school success models and dialogue with neighboring School Boards to learn from their successes and failures.

Maintain emphasis on core curriculum while adjusting to the demands of an ever-changing technological society.

Emphasize character education to stop the loss of students to private schools.

Solicit the city's professionals to join the School Board's advisory council and task force(s).

Establish consistent district-wide goals and standards of communication and self-critique.

Dialogue with neighboring School Boards to learn from their successes and failures.

Maintain emphasis on core curriculum while adjusting to the demands of an ever-changing technological society. While collegiate preparation is paramount, 70% of our students do not go on to college; thus, vocational enrichment, job-readiness and life skills are necessary.

Emphasize character education to stop the loss of students to private schools.

Seek school success models to learn how they have increased average daily attendance, improved test scores, built parent participation, eliminated wasteful spending, boosted teacher morale, etc.

Solicit the city's professionals to join the School Board's advisory council and task forces(s).

Establish consistent district-wide goals.
