Healthy level of home building to provide dollars for infrastructure

By Steven Kirk "Steve" Ballenger

Candidate for Member, City Council; City of Antioch

This information is provided by the candidate
New homes provide thousands for infrastructure. Before stores for sales tax you need people. What about family.
3,750,000 dollars to improve our local highways versus 352,000. That is the dollar difference between 500 new homes and 47 permits approved this year. 888,000 dollars versus 83,472. That is the dollar difference between 500 new homes and 47 permits approved this year in Mello Roos fees for local use. Before schools, streets, libraries, stores there is people. People need homes to live in.

We need to build more homes. If I was concerned only with myself I would be slow growth. The value of my wife's and my home would only go up faster than it is now. But what about my son Ashley, your sons or daughters. We need homes to moderate prices so they will be able to afford one when they are ready to buy.

Homes for family, homes for neighbors, homes for schools. Lets build more than 47 a year.
