  • Past member(1996-2000) San Lorenzo Unified School District Board of Education. Including 1 year as Vice President/Clerk.
  • US Army for 8 1/2years. Awarded the Army Achievement medal 3x's, Army Commendation medal 2x's,and the Good Conduct medal 2x's.
  • Served in the Gulf War where I was nominated for the Bronze Star, and was awarded 2 Liberation of Kuwait medals (Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates)
  • Past member of the Hillside school PTA Board (3yrs) including terms as Vice President and Treasurer.
  • Past member Hillside school SRC (3 yrs) including 2 terms as Chairman.
  • Past member of Sheriff's Advisory Committee, theCouncil for the Prevention of Drinking and Driving. Now President of WMMS Music Boosters.

  • Student Achievement. Test scores must be raised.
  • The E- learning program has to be expanded to include ALL of our students.
  • We have to raise the level of parent and community involvement.
