Solution to reduce Crime in District #2

By Sharon A. Kidd

Candidate for Council Member; City of Berkeley; Council District 2

This information is provided by the candidate
What Specific proposals do you have for alleviating the crime problems in South and West Berkeley?
In lieu of my expertise in saving the life's of our youth, when elected I would propose the community support in establishing a separate committee on crime for the City of Berkley. This would entail the myself and the community to formulate a liaison between the community and the police department to network solutions to solve crime situations. Also, would personally work with the youth to welcome their views on how the community could better serve their needs, and wants. Our youth are hungry for change, but often times have no menu to follow to make it happen.
