I grew up and went to school in Hayward, CA. I have three school aged children, Brandon, 13, and Jordan and Jacob, both 9. I am recently re-married to Brian Hobbs. I have lived in the Ashland area in San Lorenzo for 14 years. I have been a Property Manager for 14 years for a small complex in Ashland. I also work one week out of the month for an advertising agency in San Francisco making commercials for Wal-Mart. I am an Assistant Director. I enjoy working part time and having time to spend with my boys doing school events. I have led the PTA at my sons' schools for 4 years. I am very proud of our community built playground project and many other projects that I led at Hesperian Elementary. I saw what a difference that I could make in the lives of so many kids. I started working on community wide projects. I just recently worked side by side with Sandra Skaug of the Boys and Girls Club of San Leandro and Raymond Grangoff of the San Lorenzo School Board to write a grant for after school sports in the Ashland area. Kids are an important part of my life. They are our future. I am an advocate for children. I have an energy that doesn't stop and I am very organized and have a way of getting things done.
