OVERDEVELOPMENT is destroying our quality of life with traffic jams and air pollution. This leads to school overcrowding, loss of open space and recreational opportunities. Our water supplies are overtaxed and oak covered hillsides are disappearing.

As councilman I will:

Be accessible (284-5613) to the public and champion SMALL BUSINESS concerns. Ensure adequate schools with new development. Support our sheriffs, fire department and more housing for seniors. Strengthen our good public transportation and promote bike friendliness. Enforce Ridgeline, Oak Ordinances and 5 acres of park per thousand residents. Work with agencies to ensure ADEQUATE WATER and protect our river. Fight the Cemex mine, RiverPark Project and Newhall Ranch that will make our freeways a parking lot. Assure that we have a permanent homeless shelter. Strive to annex Placerita Park and Elsmere Canyon. Promote equal treatment for different city areas.
