1. What can be done to ensure that California gets its fair share of federal resources?

First we need to determine what is our fair share, if indeed our state is being short-changed, then the state's representatives need to overcome their differences and unite in common cause to rectify the situation.

2. What are your foreign policy priorities for the United States?

Ending our military role in Iraq, working with the UN to bring an international rebuilding effort to the region.

Openess and real fair trade. Support for young democracies. Rebuilding our international reputation.

3. What are your priorities for the federal budget?

Reducing the Pentagon budget to help pay for a national health care system. Bracketing an increase in funding for education to be used for more teachers in the classrooms. Eliminating tax breaks for corporations that move jobs overseas. Repealing the Bush tax cuts. Fund the research and development of hydrogen fuel cell technology.
