Questions & Answers

1. What can be done to ensure that California gets its fair share of federal resources?

California needs to do better when it comes to receiving our fair share of federal resources. Our California Congressional delegation is now meeting regularly, so we can speak with one voice on issues important to the state. I am also working with Governor Schwarzenegger and Senators Feinstein and Boxer on this issue and will continue to press for a strong, bi-partisan voice for California.

2. What are your foreign policy priorities for the United States?

To crackdown on the laundering of funds to terrorists cells and training grounds. To bring pressure on Mid-East countries and schools that teach terrorism. Better coordination with intelligence services overseas and improvement of security in foreign airports.

3. What are your priorities for the federal budget?

Roll back the federal deficit and prevent the re-emergence of inflation. Protect and strengthen Social Security and Medicare.
