Questions & Answers

1. What does California need to do to address the current budget crisis?

We all must tighten our belts, but I beleive the lower and middle class are being forced to absorb too many of the cuts. We must not cut educational spending. We need to curb excess spending from both parties.

2. What should the state's priorities be for K-12 education? For the Community College System?

California needs to continue on it's promise to reduce K-12 class sizes, then focus on hiring more credentialed teachers. The Community College should see a much greater share of the education budget. There are 108 Community Colleges which serve the mass in California.

3. What measures would you support to address California's water needs?

Not just write laws but investigate properly the ins and outs of the health care system, and budget accordingly.
