A Conservative Republican for Assembly we can Trust! Mark Leyes for Assembly, 68th District
Ballot Statement MARK LEYES for California State Assembly, 68th District

As a conservative Republican and Orange County Co-Chair for Rescue California - Recall Gray Davis, I'd be honored to receive your vote.

In the Assembly, I'll work with Governor Schwarzenegger to improve our economy and create new jobs.

I'm an Orange County native. My wife, Wanda, and I are active in our church and community. My experience includes 12 years of service as an elected City Council member. I'm a member of the Chamber of Commerce and have served as a member of the Orange County Council for the Boy Scouts of America.

Local Republican leaders, including former 68th District Assemblyman Curt Pringle, support me because of my strong stance against the car tax and against the bill giving drivers licenses to illegal immigrants.

Republican Assemblymen John Campbell and Bob Pacheco support me because they know I will work to reduce waste in government and balance the state budget.

Fountain Valley Mayor Guy Carrozzo and many other local officials support me because of my commitment to local law enforcement and improving neighborhood schools. Taxpayers support and trust me because of my long-standing opposition to tax increases.

The State Legislature is dominated by trial lawyers and other special interests who look out for no one but themselves.

I'm running for Assembly to represent you - not a group or special interest. I will never support a tax increase and you can trust my word.

Thank you, and I hope I can count on your vote.
