Libertarian philosophy offers freedom, prosperity, and peace

The principles of the Libertarian party put your family, business, and faith, above the powers of government. Libertarians not only believe strongly in civil liberties, like the Democrats and Greens, they also believe in economic liberty, and fiscal responsibility, like conservatives or Republicans. We do not offer ever-expanding government programs which nobody can make work, (or which nobody sincerely intended to work in the first place), like the other parties may promise you. We offer less government, and more freedom.

The current government threatens our cherished freedoms, and has destroyed our once proud, reputation. The world now associates the USA with aggression, war, deceit, and human rights abuses. Our government now practices imprisonment without trial, torture, and kidnapping, ignores the Geneva Convention for prisoners of war, and scoffs at international law.

For a kinder, gentler, government, we need a smaller government, a government with less power to abuse, with fewer privileges to allocate unequally, and with fewer projects to embezzle from. Libertarians in Congress will send a message to the major parties, that the American people want peace, freedom, and honest government.
