I believe that democracy is the best method of organizing a government. I think that, while we say that we have such a government now, we do not. The number of eligible voters who do not bother to vote indicate that many people do not believe that their vote really counts. Many citizens believe that the wealthy have greater influence on the actions of our government than the working class.

In order to create a true democracy, we need to change our method of financing elections and informing the people on the issues. We need to establish public funding of political campaigns and facilitate the free flow information.
