Economy I strongly Support and committed to Education, revitalizing Economy and increasing Employment opportunities. I strongly oppose the $15 Billion Bond. So it does not increase financial burden, but we can solve the problem as follows:

  • Increase Lottery from $1 to $3 which will give us $6 Billion dollars from that $3 Billion apply. direct this to Education, do not increase College fees, and do not close any schools. Parents will not be burdened with and students will not have to worry about their education. The Remaining $3 Billion should apply to programs for Seniors, the physical and mentally challenged relate and Women related health Issues and the environment.
  • Increase 1% sales tax which will give us $10 Billion annually. $5 billion will go to State Government and $5 billion will go to local government to solve local financial problems.
  • Increase Tax to Wealthiest Californians who have income over $200,000. solution. Do not increase taxes for low income and middle class.
  • Stop building prisons and use the money to build and upgrade schools and colleges.. we need schools not prisons..
  • Minimum Wage $8.50. Please read San Jose Mercury news edition for February 5th,04 on the front page about the 20th Assembly race.
