1. What can be done to ensure that California gets its fair share of federal resources?

Answer from Peter Sundin Soule:

The 15th Congressional District needs to elect a Republican to Congress. President Bush will be re-elected. The representative from our district will have a much better opportunity to secure our fair share from Washington if that person is a Republican as well.

Answer from Raymond L. Chukwu:

It can be done by creating pro-business climate that can attract federal investment in innovative scientific research and development that will result in product development at the marketplace. Through this process, California can receive major share of federal grants and resources.

2. What are your foreign policy priorities for the United States?

Answer from Raymond L. Chukwu:

- working in partnership with allied countries to curb the threat of global terrorism
- promoting fair trade with other countries
- to ensure continuity of US leadership in scientific and technological innovations in the world market
- working with developing countries in line with US national interest

Answer from Peter Sundin Soule:

The number one priority of the federal government is to provide for the "common defense". That means the focus of our foreign policy must be in protecting America from terrorism and securing our alliances like-minded countries. Please see my website for details.

3. What are your priorities for the federal budget?

Answer from Peter Sundin Soule:

We must reduce the federal budget deficit over the next 5 years. We must allocate our budget wisely focusing on national defense, homeland security and encouraging economic growth. See my website for details.

Answer from Raymond L. Chukwu:

- investment in education
- tax incentive to businesses
- investment in scientific and technological research & developemnt
- investment in occupational-job training programs
