I am a native Californian. I was born in San Francisco and educated in the public schools of that city. I graduated from San Francisco State University and received a Teacher's Credential from that institution. I was a teacher for the San Francisco Unified School District. Since my retirement I have studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and am a professional painter. I am also a community organizer. I have worked for the deregulation of the energy system (prop 9), the Single Payer Health System (prop 186) and am now working on Public Finance of Candidates.
