I have been a District 3 Organizer for the Newsom mayoral campaign since beginning of 2003. I have seen firsthand the problems and issues facing San Francisco. These issues are not impossible, some are not even difficult. However, many our our elected officials would rather do political posturing and hold extreme positions than actually finding real solutions. From my business experience, what counts is finding the best solution to the problem, it doesn't matter what position one holds. In this time of crisis for the Democratic Party and values it stands for, I beleive the DCCC must do its part to unite the party factions and become more relevant locally and statewide. We also must reach out to moderate Republicans, Greens, and other party members. I think it is time to take a stand against the super conservative and the extremists.
