Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Christopher L. Bowman

Candidate for
Republican Party County Central Committee; County of San Francisco; Assembly District 13

This information is provided by the candidate

It is essential that the Republican Party again become the majority party in California, and a major player in San Francisco politics.

Lacking currently Statewide and in the City is a new generation of Republican candidates and leaders who reflect the values and diversity of California and San Francisco. They must be trained and groomed to assume leadership positions in the next decade.

Additionally, we need to broaden the base of the Republican Party by shelving divisive social issues and working together on those issues that unite all factions of the party, and by reaching out to communities taken for granted by the Democratic Party, including minorities, professional women, LGBT voters, conservative labor, and youth. We must go where Republicans rarely are seen, and earn our dues in the various communities by working on common projects and issues.

Throughout this process, we need to better communicate with our Republican base so that Republican voters know what the issues are, are motivated to vote, and vote as a bloc to increase the electoral influence of the Republican Party.
