This information is provided by the candidate
Vision: imaginative insight into a subject or problem etc., foresight and wisdom in planning.
Mr. G., an over 20-year resident of the Third District, is taking his commitment into politics to give a voice for seniors in City Hall and to the people of the Third District. He is running for the District 3 seat in City Hall to win and defeat the incumbent councilwoman.

Mr. G. wants to continue in the legacy of the founding fathers by breaking down barriers, stopping discrimination, and extending life, liberty, and the pursuit of justice to constituents of the Third District, and all the people of San Diego. Guided with the voice of the people and not by partisan politics, but with integrity and principled-based leadership; He will fight for San Diegan's and make the right decisions.

Mr. Garcia quotes this phrase often: "Cooperation: there is no limit as to what can be accomplished. If it doesn't matter who gets the credit." He believes in a balanced approach to government, and knows that it takes firm fiscal discipline to succeed in business, and in government. City Hall will receive his unwavering commitment to put in place strong financial management, and ensure health care, education, and improved facilities for the children of the Third District

The most crippling item the City has it's deficit, and Mr. G. wants to work with lawmakers and his peers in City hall to payoff the City's deficit and build a "Rainy Day" fund to help the city and the third District through any future economic downturns. Mr. G. wants help create incentive programs to attract new businesses. He wants to help put in place tax incentives to attract and keep new corporations. He would like to establish initiatives that would boost consumer confidence through consumer protection.

Public safety and public protection is a top priority for him especially for City Heights, North Park, Hillcrest and the International Village, which he believes should encompass El Cajon Blvd. and University Ave. Drugs, Sex and Nude clubs are in our business districts near our schools, and private homes, and he believes that re-zoning their licenses would take them out these vital economic and public sectors. Re-zoning, new businesses, strong viable after school programs, and a stronger police force will do a lot to reduce the crime, the truancy, and the drugs in our communities. His insistence on accountability, investment, and excellence in public education will also help.

He will work closely with the Police department to see his dream of two police officers per vehicle, become reality. He wants to see more Police officers on bicycles, in pairs, in our more volatile neighborhoods, by saving expenses on the operation and up keep of police vehicles.

Mr. Garcia vision is to work with lawmakers, prosecutors, judges and law enforcement, to crack down on violent crime in the Third District. His fight is to protect our family's homes, and businesses.

Mr. G's trademark is his tough mindedness on the hard issues and his passion is the improvement of the quality of life for our senior's and our children. Mr. Garcia wants to expand programs to help senior's afford prescription drugs, and better-safer housing. He wants to propose tougher screening of employees through the FBI who work in federally subsidized housing, including private government subsidized housing. Mr. G. will seek to implement tougher sentencing on violators of the human decency of our senior's and children of the Third District.

Mr. G. as a city councilman wants to continue to build a sense of identity for all the communities of the Third District. Finally, as City councilman for the Third District he would like to see and support more women and minorities in judgeships and other prominent positions.

Mr. Garcia has chosen to politically represent the district that he has lived in for over 20 years. He has a personal interest in making his community safe and prosperous for everyone. Mr. Garcia's professional experience and his commitment to integrity and his principle centered leadership makes him the best candidate for city councilman for the Third District of the City of San Diego.

Thank you God Bless, and God Bless America.

Sincerely,

Mr. G. Garcia City Council Candidate 3rd District, City of San Diego
