Judge Kevin Enright has more than two decades of legal experience. He was admitted to the State Bar in California in 1979 after receiving his J.D. from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law that same year. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of California (1979), the United States District Court for the Southern District of California (1985), and the United States Supreme Court (1988).

Judge Enright was appointed to the San Diego Municipal Court in 1995 by Governor Wilson. Governor Wilson also appointed him to the Superior Court in 1997.

In addition to his judicial experience, Judge Enright served in private practice at Butz, Lucas, Dunn and Enright from 1985 to 1995, and spent five years as a Deputy District Attorney (1979-1984) in Mendocino County. As a prosecutor he tried more than 100 jury trials to verdict, including rape, child molest, manslaughter and white collar crimes such as insurance scams against the elderly.

Judge Enright is married with three children. He is active in youth sports, his church and his community, and is a member of the downtown Rotary.
