Position Papers
Honest, Open, Fair and Effective Governmment
Chuck Reed is an independent voice for honest, open, fair and effective government.
Opposition to spending $343 million for a new city hall.
If we spend $343 million dollars for a new city hall, five years from now we will be meeting in a grand new city hall to make decisions about which voter approved bond projects cannot be built because we do not have enough money to pay to operate them. We are digging ourselves into a hole, and it's time to stop digging and figure out a better way to meet our needs.
You are invited to help set priorities for the District.
In January every year, I hold a District 4 Conference on Priorities to discuss suggestions for the District and to report back to the community.
