Common-sense for City Hall

We need to bring common-sense policies to bring back jobs, improve our roads, protect our neighborhoods and make sure City Hall is responsive to the community.

Bring back jobs and improve local economy

Rich will use his experience as business owner to help create jobs and stand-up to special interests that are chasing jobs out of San Jose.

Strengthening neighborhoods

Rich will continue District 10's tradition of strong neighborhood involvement and support.

Improving roads and reducing traffic

Rich supported Measure A and will work to reduce traffic problems, widen Branham Lane and make sure road improvements are completed on time.

Keeping schools and communities safe

Rich De La Rosa will ensure that police and fire fighters have the tools and personnel to keep schools and neighborhoods safe from crime and gangs + and he'll empower communities to fight graffiti and juvenile crime.

Fixing the budget and eliminating waste

Rich will bring his experience as a business owner to the council to tackle tough budget issues. He strongly supports a Constitutional Amendment to prevent the State Legislature from ever taking local funds again.

Supporting better schools

De La Rosa wants to build partnerships with schools, neighborhoods, businesses and police to create better, safer schools + and to bring effective mentors to help children succeed.
