The Republican Party of Santa Clara County is a campaign organization, not a government body or lobbying group. Carrying out the party's mission to conduct the Republican campaign requires a clear understanding of the party's role, and and an unambiguous division of labor beween the party and its candidates.

The responsibility of the Republican Central Committee is to maximize the number of Republican voters in the county, and promote their turnout in the elections in support of our candidates. By focusing on increasing and delivering the Republican base vote, we liberate our candidates to concentrate their efforts on the non-Republican voters they need to win.

This clear allocation of responsibility allows the party and candidates to focus on their own responsibilities, which will produce success at the ballot box.
