One of my top priorities if elected Superior Court Judge would be to make the court system more user-friendly. This would include:

  • Updating technology so that court information is available to the public via online access to court records and electronic filing

  • Helping people who are representing themselves navigate more easily through the system

  • Running the courtroom efficiently so as to reduce the burden on litigants, victims, witnesses, police officers, and jurors

  • Organizing the courthouse to serve as a community center with information about community events and activities as well as legal services

In addition, eliminating bias within the court system in the areas of Race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, national origin, marital status, would be a top priority as well.
