Bud Rogers moved to Humboldt County in 1981 to raise his three children in a natural, rural environment. The clean air, water and country lifestyle that he remembered as a child in the San Joaquin Valley brought him here.

His great grandfather fought in the Civil War, his grandfather in WWI, his father in WWII as a sailor in the Pacific Theatre and his brothers and he all wore the same uniform. He was in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Our Freedom means a lot to Rogers.
