Questions & Answers

1. How would you implement your top priority?

Our district must develop specific goals and a strategy for achieving them, and then actively communicate this vision with our faculty, parents, students & community. I will work for the board to embrace the continuous improvement planning (CIP) team as the vehicle for dialogue and planning between parents and school leadership. This must be an ongoing effort.

2. How can the School Board work with local government and the community on use of school facilities for after school programs and recreations?

Our Board and Administration must work with faculty, parents and community on after school programs and recreations. We must work with and seek input from parents and other stake holders on programs like extended care. Planned changes should also consider the impacts to other community groups like basketball, gymnastics, etc. Communication is the key to having successful relationships with our community and the township.`
