What long-range non-traditional methods for school funding would you suggest?

Wyoming Schools must change the way we operate to remain competitive. New funding sources must be addressed addressed from two perspectives:

1. Generate new revenue (offset state cuts/reduce reliance on residents
2. Optimize operational efficiencies

Secure new funding sources by
1. Sharing significant mores resources with City of Wyoming (e.g. maintenance of facilities so both entities reduce costs) and leverage of city's access to state and federal grants to offset raising infrastructure costs
2. Refine community association education gift-giving process to offset cuts in state funding
3. Institute well defined and dedicated grant writing initiative to access untapped state, federal and private funding opportunities
4. Implement significantly tighter control of daily budge process for greater transparency and conduct a cost/benefit/variance evaluation for each expenditure request
5. Explore additional outsourcing of services
