When I served on the Cincinnati School Board, my mission was to improve educational opportunities for all concerned. At that time, I felt we needed to raise everyone's level of expectation, including students, parents, teachers, administrators and the public in general.

We still have the same issues in the city, and I will work to raise the expectations for good and sensible government for all who are involved in the city, including citizens who live and work here, as well as suburbanites who work and visit here, and especially tourists who visit this city. It is time that we restore the city to the quality of life enjoyed in years gone by.

I have the experience, maturity and wisdom to lead the transformation of this city to one that is recognized as one of the best cities in the country. We did this with the Cincinnati Park Board in making our city park system the number one urban park system in the country, and I am certain it can be accomplished for our beloved city.
