Professional Growth/Staff Development

This information is provided by the candidate
Staff development - and professional growth opportunities - are an important part of the educational process for students.
The Board must support staff, budget for and allow on-going staff development and professioal growth opportunities.

1. Is the District supporting its teachers with all the staff development opportunities they need?
2. Are the teachers and administrators, including the superintendent, participating in professional growth activities?
3. Have the current Board Members looked at these programs and classes?

Pending no conflict of interest, Board Members should keep abreast of staff development activities and take an active role in supporting staff's implementation of these opportunities.
