Candidate for
Mayor; City of Modesto

My campaign is a grassroots effort to connect with the every day citizens of Modesto, so that we can work together to move Modesto forward with the many challenges and difficult decisions we face in the months and years ahead.

Some campaigns for local office involve six figure budgets and require large contributions and resources from powerful local interest groups. I am not seeking to raise funds at that level, and I want every citizen of Modesto to have the opportunity to make a difference and have a voice in our future.

My vision for Modesto plans for and manages inevitable growth; moves a transportation plan forward that can accommodate the size of our community and ensures new funding for roads. Modesto must be more proactive in developing the local employment base while working within the tight resources the City must face for the rest of this decade.

I want to see the position of Mayor occupied by someone who can lead the city council, grassroots organizations, businesses, other public entities and all citizens of Modesto to work more as a team.

It is time for experienced citizens with no prior political experience, to provide leadership that will restore faith, honesty and respect to the position of Mayor of Modesto.

I am a 30 year member of the Modesto community and want to see the best possible future for the city I love.
