Over the past few years, I've been developing and managing unique high visibility and critical special programs along with the technical certification program for HP's pinnacle of computing power, the NonStop server. These are the systems that run most of the worlds stock markets and bank ATM traffic. I have extensive experience in many phases of education, training, instructional design and technology, curriculum development, human performance engineering, interactive multimedia, computer based learning systems, alternative evaluation methods and many other areas of educational and cognitive development.

By contributing my 16+ years of professional and technical education experience along with my skills and knowledge in people and program management, multimedia development, performance support systems, data communications and surrounding technologies, I know I could offer the school board a fresh perspective. I have a BA in Communication and an MS in Education (Instructional Technology), and for the past dozen years in Silicon Valley I've built a solid reputation in the industry and local training community while I've steadily worked in the technical training divisions of Tymnet, British Telecom, MCI, Siemens, Apple Computer, Tandem Computers, Compaq Computer and now Hewlett-Packard.

I have always kept abreast of the latest trends in visual systems and applications, communication technologies, and cutting-edge research and development. Some of my personal research has included human performance technology, distance learning, cognitive/visual perception, three-dimensional imaging systems, and holographic applications. Pioneering new approaches and leading by example has been my personal philosophy. Integrating creative thinking and design in my work and everyday life is a daily goal.
