My Political Philosophy is that I believe in personal responsibility over government intervention. That people are smarter with their money than the government is. To use facts and common since over feel good rhetoric.

A government can only do one of two things, it can TAX or it can SUBSIDIZE. Things that it taxes get smaller, things that it subsidizes increases.

That the way to increase business is for the government to get out of the way of business, by lower taxes and less regulations.

To help the homeless we have to be less compassionate, because our compassion is making the problems worse. To bring the number of homeless down to controllable levels by instituting strict residency requirements, drug testing, and by reducing the amount of money they are given. We have to set goals and determine accountability to fix the homeless problem.

I am the guy "who lives next door" who became concerned about the direction the city of San Francisco is taking. Over the years the City has fallen from a shining light to a broken bulb. The homeless problem is out of control, parking fines have sky rocketed, school educational levels are the lowest in the United States and falling, and we have a government that is mismanaged and is spending itself into bankruptcy. In my heart I know San Francisco can do better and deserves better than what it's gotten.

My dream is to make San Francisco the cultural and business center that it used to be. A City where art, business, and cultural diversity blend together like a fine wine. A City where anyone, from any part of the world, can feel at home. A City that the world can fall in love with again, and would again want to visit.
