Demanding Accountability
My goals for the department will be to ensure leadership, discipline and the integration of modern technology.

1. Set clear goals for Captains and evaluate them by utilizing Compstat technology and eliminate the ranks of Commander and Assistant Chief.

2. Computerize the case tracking system from the initial report to completion of the investigation. Ensure instant status reports on all cases and hold Lieutenants responsible for case assignment and clearance.

3. Focus on supervision and training to prevent misconduct before it happens and audit the entire disciplinary process as a first step towards reorganization.

4. Fully staff our ten district stations and hold Captains accountable for crime in their districts. Issue each officer a notebook computer for immediate rep
