I'm proud of my record during the last four years as a Board Member for the Los Altos School District. As current Vice President for the Los Altos School Board, and as a Member of the Los Altos Parks, Arts and Recreation Commission, I have a proven record of leadership in guiding our Community through difficult decisions. From the start of my City Council Campaign, I have been fortunate to receive endorsements from community leaders, volunteers, and families like yours throughout Los Altos.

As a Council Member, I will work to accomplish the following:

  • Maintain a balanced budget, while also building up our emergency reserves
  • Improve public safety, including traffic enforcement in residential areas
  • Clarify and improve existing building design guidelines
  • Improve neighborhood notification in advance of major decisions
  • Encourage the implementation of reasonable traffic calming measures
  • Develop and implement a sensible plan for park and facility renovations
  • Cooperate with schools for mutual community benefit
  • Support economic vitality of our business districts
  • Preserve the residential character of our town

With 15 years of business and finance management experience, along with my extensive community involvement, my focus will include advocating fiscal accountability in city operations. As you know, Los Altos is a great place to raise a family, be a part of a fantastic Community, and cherish the lives we have. The individuals chosen to represent our Community on the Council in November will have a profound impact on the direction our Community takes over the next four years. My commitment is that I will address the issues facing Los Altos with leadership, integrity, and complete openness to the public.
