Das Williams grew up here and has dedicated his life to improving our community, protecting our environment and educating our youth.
Co-President, Environmental Defense Center
Helped secure funding for creek restoration and pollution cleanup
Wrote legislation banning oil tankers from our coast
Teaching Assistant & Master's Candidate, UCSB
Former Junior High School Teacher

Das William is a proven environmental leader - helping write legislation to protect our coasts, reducing pollution in our ocean, and protective open space. He is a product of local schools, and attended SBCC before graduating from U.C. Berkeley. He taught Junior High School before pursuing his Master's and becoming a Teaching Assistant at UCSB. Das Williams understands our community and has the energy and commitment to improve Santa Barbara while keeping it the special place we love.

CRACK DOWN ON REPEAT POLLUTERS AND RUNOFF INTO OUR OCEANS
Repair sewers that are leaking into our creeks and oceans
DECREASE TRAFFIC CONGESTION
Fight to create good jobs with benefits
AN ORDINANCE TO PRESERVE THE SPECIAL CHARACTER OF SB NEIGHBOORHOODS
