Good Day Voters! Carol and I have lived in Murrieta since 1992 (11.5 yrs.)and have been married for 28 years having raised two sons aged 26 and 24. Both sons attended the local public schools(Lettering in varsity football and cross country) and the eldest completed his degree in the liberal arts at UC Riverside. Carol is a finance supervisor and I am a full time consultant with a local engineering firm. We are very proud of our City and plan to remain here permanently. We firmly believe that once Murrieta is fully developed, it'll be one of the finest cities in California to live in.

Military Service: USN-Vietnam Era (1973-1977): Expeditionary Task Force: Operation Baby Lift: Removal of Women and Children from S. Vietnam and shut-down of US Military involvement there.

Work Experience: The Ford Motor Company(Environmental); The Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts(Energy Recovery-Public Agency Engineering Firm); LTR:Landriscina Technical Research, a Murrieta based consultancy which just celebrated it first milestone-5 years in business and also nominated for Home-Based business of the year award by the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce; George S. May International Company-B2B consultants and presently consulting on Internationl Trade/Marketing and Sales with SRS Engineering Corp. which is headquartered here in Murrieta.

The CASA position mentioned on the highlights page is new to the Murrieta area, yet provides for over 2,800 children in the county of Riverside who through no fault of their own have been taken from their families and placed in child protection services or have been placed in foster homes and or institutional homes. I have been appointed by the court to be an advocate (volunteer) to speak on their behalf in court for adequate healthcare, academic achievements and transitional assistance as they leave the system.

The SSRC was my direct involvement with the "Save Southwest Riverside County" a local organization which defeated the Valley Rainbow Interconnect Transmission Lines Project. I went door to door to get signatures for letters to the public utility commissioners and wrote numerous letters in support of the campaign to stop SDG&E from building the towers in our valley. The letters were sent to the five commissioners and the then Governor-Gray Davis. I have also had discussions with both the city's of Murrieta and Temecula on energy related issues offering the services of my consultancy for the "Temecula Municipal Power Agency."

I've also attended the Goal Setting sessions for the city of Murrieta and numerous council meetings to date which includes watching the sessions on cable channel 43.

The Murrieta Citizens for a Senior Center have been meeting for two years at various locations throughout Murrieta to which I've been in attendence each month volunteering letters to County Supervisors and helping out with the booth we had at the City's birthday celebration.
