Member Governing Board; Palm Springs Unified School District

Hello,

I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Patrick Henry and I was born and reared in Palm Springs, which has been my home all my life. As a graduate of Palm Springs High School in 1983, I am quite familiar with the District's educational programs. I have also taken several Administration of Justice courses at College of the Desert.

Currently, I am a Service Technician with Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc. where I have worked for nineteen years. During this time, I also spent thirteen years on reserve assignments with the Palm Springs and Desert Hot Springs Police Departments. My volunteer work in ministry to delinquent youths at Indio Juvenile Hall, Twin Pines Boy's Ranch and Trinity Whitewater Boy's Home for three years gives me a greater understanding of the need for a solid education for all young people.

Although I am not a career politician, I love this community. I am an active parent in my daughter's education and that of many school age children. With that being said, I am personally committed to enchancing educational opportunities for all students.
