BACKGROUND

Ø Chairman and Member of the Tiburon Planning Commission

Ø Chairman and Member of the Tiburon Design Review Board (1999-2001)

Ø Member of the Board of Directors of Hospice of Marin

Ø Land use attorney with 15 years experience appearing before councils, boards and commissions in 9 jurisdictions

Ø Marin County native and third generation resident for over 30 years

Ø Married 18 years with two children in the Reed Union School District

CURRENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Ø Working on the update of the Tiburon General Plan

Ø Working to protect our remaining open space, ridgelines, and waterfront

Ø Working to maintain the small, peaceful, village character of Tiburon

Ø Working to improve bicycle and pedestrian safety on Tiburon Boulevard

Ø Working to find another home for the MERA tower

Ø Worked on and approved new Downtown Guidelines

VISION FOR THE FUTURE

Ø Maintain our small population and peaceful way of life by limiting growth and protecting our remaining open space, ridgelines, and waterfront to the maximum extent feasible

Ø Improve traffic flow for vehicles, and traffic safety for pedestrians and bicycles

Ø Make downtown more user-friendly to locals by supporting local business, improving parking, and promoting a more family-friendly downtown

Ø Continue the strong fiscal responsibility of the current Town Council by controlling public spending and other liabilities
