Selection of President and establishing an effective communications system

In order to pursue our bond issue and establish effective communications both within our college community and with the Marin community as a whole we need to exert maximum effort in the selection process.
We are just completing the criteria for application and selection of the panel that will screen candidates for the presidential postion at COM. The person selected will determine if we will continue to excel or settle for being just "okay".

COM needs to establish itself once again as the premiere cultural and learning center in Marin and that can only be done with the President being highly visible and articulate to our internal and external community.

To get the best it will not be easy given our housing costs and the challenges facing the new President.
