The long awaited 9 million dollar civic project to beautify, modernize, and enhance Novato's downtown.
This ongoing project is a 9 million dollar commitment by the City of Novato. As the changes become evident the down town merchants have been caught up in a wave of optimism and enthusiasm. Many merchants are planning to expand and to add attractive facades to beautify the downtown. The city must seize the initiative and help the merchants to sustain that momentum. We must engage the down town community into a maximum interaction. This would provide for Grant Avenue a once in a lifetime opportunity to produce the best possible results.
