Position Papers
MPC is dear to my heart and I am willing to give as much of my energy and time to preserve present programs and the positions of many employees
I have been associated with MPC since 1975. I was a part-time instructor and a member of the team that introduced the Ethnic Studies Program and EOPS to the college.
Goals...
My goals that I pledge to fulfill reflect the needs and the issues that many of our residents, MPC faculty and staff as well as many students shared with me since I left the Board in 2001..
As an experienced, knowledgeable former MPC Trustee I have a record of successfully fighting for many issues that benefit our students and employees
My activity as a Trustee has always been aimed toward preservation and improvement of the quality of our educational programs in spite of all obstacles. Our residents must have access to quality education that includes community colleges. I see this goal as the most important task of all. I will strive to preserve and improve "the life-long learning program," thereby maintaining the quality of education in its transfer program and in its vocational education program.
