Provide opportunity for parents to continue participation through the 8th grade.The success of the Cornerstone Program has strong support from teachers, students and parents. There is a strong interest to provide a continuation of the parent participation model through the 8th grade. The district could defer the construction or opening of another intermediate school by proposing a grade 6-8 program for Cornerstone families. The utilization of this program could offer a solution to accomodating the growth of the district without having to build a new campus in a manner that would allow parents maximum choice for their childrens education. |
