As a business owner, I recognize the importance of maintaining a high standard of ethics & integrity, strong negotiation skills (especially in tight budget situations), fiscal accountability, and reporting back to interested parties (parents, teachers, staff, community, & students).

Our first priority are the students, but we can't take care of the students without taking care of the teachers and involving the parents.

Our school district is WONDERFUL! It has done & continues to do great things. However, we need to step up to the challenges ahead to be able to continue being a successful school district.

There are more people moving into the valley. Some schools will be opening at capacity. Budget constraints are a reality. All the while, we must continue to maintain and strive to exceed the high standards of academic as well as, non-academic programs. Accurate long range planning with innovative solutions is critical for our continued success as a district.

I believe I have the experience and skills that will make me a valuable asset to the board. My business experience relies heavily on my ability to:

  • Problem solve
  • Project manage
  • Troubleshoot areas that can be streamlined into more efficient and effective processes
  • Provide accurate long range business scope planning and budgeting
  • Pull together teams of people to get the job done

I look at things from all angles to see how all surrounding parties are affected. Businesses call my company for assistance because we can look at what appears to be an insurmountable problem and find a simple solution. We look at the issues from a different perspective offering fresh ideas with an eye toward resolution.

The Hart District is in the business of educating. The board needs strong, proven, successful business people to guide it to the next level.

I am interested in serving the needs of:

  • The community
  • The schools
  • The children... teachers... parents

I have no hidden political agenda. A vote for me on Nov 4th will be a vote for integrity, ethics, and good common business sense for the educational well-being of our children.
