Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Dylan Loewe

Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Las Virgenes Unified School District

This information is provided by the candidate

Las Virgenes has been, until recently, one of the state's top school districts. But the school board is squandering this precious resource. The board has mismanaged our resources, resulting in overcrowding, plummeting morale, and dropping test scores. The board conducts too much business in secret and fails to work well with parents, teachers, and community leaders. We are in desperate need of change.

My name is Dylan Loewe and I have the energy, ideas, and fresh perspective to save our schools. I'm a product of the district, have extensive experience working for the district, and am a key aide to a member of the Calabasas City Council.

If elected, I will put a stop to wasteful spending and hold district administrators accountable. I will reduce overcrowding to give our kids the environment they need to excel.

We cannot allow Las Virgenes to continue its slide toward mediocrity. We must recognize our problems and address them head on. That's why I need your vote. If you would like to learn more, please visit me at http://www.dylanloewe.com. With parents, teachers, and community leaders, we can return Las Virgenes to its prominence. We must do this for our children--before it's too late.
