As a former teacher with 30 years of experience and a parent and grandparent, education has always been and continues to be a top priority in my life. I dedicate myself to serving the children, parents and staff of the Palmdale School District. I would like to provide a safe environment for students to receive a high quality education. I value diversity and strongly believe in equal educational opportunity and equal representation. Every child and every school should be able to achieve equally well.

I am an advocate of parent involvement and participation in the educational process. I would like to implement diversified programs that will meet the needs of our high achieving students, low achieving students and special needs students.

In these difficult fiscal times I will safeguard the finance of our school district and maximize the use of school funds to provide a high quality education. I believe that education is a community responsibility. I will work with our city officials and businesses to raise funds and integrate more resources. My vision is that together we can provide all Palmdale children an education second to none.
