My Positions

By Glenn A. Creiman

Candidate for Governing Board Member; Bonita Unified School District

What I will strive to achieve if elected
I believe that more controls should be returned to local school districts, and those districts be held accountable for the successes or failures of their policies. We need to increase parental involvement in every area and in all schools. We need to improve relations with our employees and staff and improve the communications at every level and in every directon. I will also work to ensure our district is united and any differences that existed in the past between communities are resolved.

Great schools are important not only to our children but to the community as well. We owe it to our children to provide them with the best educational opportunities possible, but we must also consider the needs of the community and the taxpayers and offer them the best return on their investment.

In my literally 1000's of hours volunteering in the schools and with different community groups, I have always used one simple test when making a decision. Is this decision the best possiblechoice for our children?

If elected, this premise is the one I will continue to use for every decision.
